Whenever I see people argue about who the teen/youngest team member would consider to be their parent figure (and this comes up surprisingly a lot in fandom and it always turns in to a major hate fest down the line), I always think back to being 16 and having like at least 4 fake family units in different friend groups.
they can have all the fake parent figures they want, it ain’t a competition. It’s more of a “gotta catch em all” thing.
